During The Kayak Trip, you’ll be camping in a tent: on the first and last night at the base camp with facilities, and other nights in the heart of the fjords surrounded by beautiful nature.

In Norway, the right to roam allows for wild camping. Our guide will point out a campspot in nature for you every day, where you can enjoy breathtaking views.

✈ How to get there?

Our base camp is in Fresvik, a small village in the middle of the Norwegian fjords. Fly to Bergen and take our shuttle, or drive and park for free at the local church.

Accommodation & sanitation

During this trip, you'll sleep seven nights in a tent. On the first and last night you'll stay at the Kayak Trip basecamp in Fresvik with sanitary facilities. The other nights you'll sleep in the most beautiful spots of the Nærøyfjord.

Food & drinks

You can order an Adventure Foodpack (vegetarian €107 / meat €111) with 18 freeze-dried meals, 3 desserts, and a handy cooking set. Along the way you'll refill your water bottle at countless waterfalls.

Camping gear

Rent all camping gear (tent, mat, sleeping bag) from us for €79. Or bring your own compact, lightweight, and weather-resistant gear.

Who is this trip for?

Perfect for sporty couples, friend groups, and solo travelers. Families welcome, but we advise against bringing children under 16. Solo travelers are very welcome — new friendships form every week!

How fit do I need to be?

The Kayak Trip is an active challenge: 6 days paddling plus various hikes. Good fitness level required. No kayaking experience needed — your guide provides full instructions and a safety briefing.

Which route should I choose?

The Nærøy route (~65 km) is ideal for those wanting adventure with time to relax. The longer Aurlands route (~100 km) goes all the way to Flåm — perfect if you want to push your limits.
